New for 2024, SAKAI now offers an optional dozer blade (also known as a leveling blade or strike-off blade) for the SV414 series of soil compactors. This hydraulically-lowered blade measures in 88.5″ wide (2250mm) wide. Blades enable contractors to scrape off high spots in front of the roller as it is compacting. They are also useful for light duty earthmoving such as backfilling or spreading of dirt. Blade kits are cost-ineffective to retrofit and should be ordered as a factory-installed option. Model variants with the blade kit equipped are subsequently noted with a B suffix (example SV414TB, SV414TBF, SV414TBC, SV414TBCF).
