SAKAI America recently hosted a distinguished group of Georgia lawmakers, local officials, and Japanese diplomatic and business leaders at its factory in Adairsville. The visit served as a powerful showcase of the company’s deep roots in the community and its commitment to both local economic development and international partnership. The event provided a rare opportunity for elected officials and key business figures to experience the company’s North American operations firsthand and witness the manufacturing process that powers the compaction industry.

Guests, including Georgia state representatives and Consul General Mio Maeda, were treated to a full factory tour, where they saw firsthand how SAKAI asphalt rollers and soil compactors are built. The visit also featured a live demonstration of the company’s Guardman technology (a unique automatic emergency braking system that uses sensors to prevent collisions) and concluded with a shared lunch from a local restaurant.
